Nature’s Best 2025
It is always humbling when people enjoy and appreciate your work. Even more so when it is a big international competition. So it was with great enjoyment that I received an email notifying me that my film The Last Cheetahs had been highly honoured in Nature’s Best Photography International Awards for 2025.
International Tourism Film Festival Win!
I’m beyond thrilled that our film The Last Cheetahs won Silver in the International Tourism Film Festival Africa documentary category.
Wanderlust Guide of the Year 2023
It is a very great privilege to have been asked to put together the video introducing the guide finalists for this year’s Wanderlust Magazine Guide of the Year.
These awards are unique and celebrate the men and women who make travel exceptional.
Shackleton in Baffin
Jealousy aside, making this short promo video for Paul and Shackleton was a lot of fun and brought back all the wonderful memories of exploring the frozen ocean around Baffin Island in search of polar bears. To travel there, in spring, with temperatures exceeding minus 30ºC requires some serious cold-weather gear.
Kicheche Social Media
The rainy season is not often the time of choice for travel to Kenya’s Masai Mara Conservancies, but for us it was the perfect time at the end of the season to spend some quality time with some of our favourite people.
Race through the Masai Mara Conservancies | MARAthon 2022
It is a great privilege to have been asked to film for the UltraMARAthon this year - a 50km race (either individually or as part of a relay) through the conservancies of the northern Masai Mara.
Nature’s Best - Benjamin Mkapa Awards 2022
We were very honoured to be Highly Commended in the 2022 edition of the Benjamin Mkapa African Wildlife Photo Awards in both the video and photo competitions.
This yearly competition is run by Nature’s Best Photography together with the African Wildlife Foundation and is named for H.E. Benjamin Mkapa (1938-2020) who was the third president of Tanzania and a staunch advocate of conservation in East Africa.
