Meet the Team
We are a film and photography duo specialising in conservation film and story-telling with over two decades of combined experience in the wild operating in remote and often challenging locations. We understand the complexities of conservation and running safari camps and believe in the power of film and photography to shape change for the better, crafting compelling and dynamic stories that inspire and engage.

Director, Cinematographer & Editor
I grew up in Cape Town, South Africa and, from a young age, spent every free moment travelling with family and friends into South Africa's wild reserves or camping out under the stars listening to the sounds of jackals crying and lions roaring.
Despite a university degree in Finance and Accounting, the wild has always called and, together with my wife Laura, I have continued to spend every free moment in the wilderness.
My personal interest is in telling stories about relationships at the edge of existence where tourism, communities, and wildlife meet.

I'm a South African-born wildlife photographer and photographic guide, with a love for Earth’s open and uninhabited places, from the plains and waterways of Africa to the ice of the Arctic.
Having grown up in South Africa, I spent a lot of my time from childhood to right through university travelling ‘to the bush’ (‘on Safari’ to all non-South Africans). Although I loved it, it was only when I picked up a camera for the first time in 2007 and peered down the lens that I realised that it was these incredible animals and the natural earth, not the advanced accounting degree that I was then studying, that was my passion.
Photography opens you up to an entirely new perspective and encourages new ways of seeing the world, from the smallest details that are otherwise overlooked to the expansive and diverse landscapes that not only form the backdrop to the images but often are, themselves, the stars.
WILDLIFE
The natural world is, by itself, the single most complex, compelling and unpredictable saga.
With powerful imagery and story-telling we aim to celebrate our incredible wildlife and empower those on the frontlines helping to conserve and protect our natural heritage.
FILM
Film shifts our perceptions and draws us on a journey into the natural world. We become the subject. We see through their eyes and feel what they feel - their hope, fear, courage and will to succeed. It is a journey of powerful emotions and changing perspectives placing us in the story and leaving us with lasting impressions.
Filming nature takes patience. Lots of it. There can be days waiting for something specific to happen, but there are also days when everything and more happens at once.
The natural world is full of wonder, charm, and infinite surprise. Filming and showcasing its stories is a privilege and something we love - whether on the plains of Africa or the frozen Arctic.
PHOTOGRAPHY
Photography is about freezing a moment. A fleeting moment that may never be captured again. It has the power to inspire individuals and movements, to define an organisation or to raise awareness by transporting us into the world of the subject. It is a lens into the world of the mythical and focuses our imagination.
A photograph does more than simply setting the scene. It is a lens into the world of the subject, opening our imagination and inspiring conversation.
