Nelson welcomes guests to Kicheche Valley Camp

The rainy season is not often the time of choice for travel to Kenya’s Masai Mara Conservancies, but for us it was the perfect time at the end of the season to spend some quality time with some of our favourite people.

We’re really excited to have partnered with Kicheche Camps in April to film and produce a series of short videos ranging from reels of as little as 20s to longer, more in depth videos showcasing conservation initiatives through the prism of the wonderful staff.

In collaboration with one of the owners, we spent a few days chasing the rains, filming wildlife and interviewing the staff both in the wild and in the more relaxed confines of camp getting their thoughts on everything from wildlife, conservation, family, cultural and personal battles and what working for Kicheche means to them.

This has been my favourite collaboration to date without question. There are so many inspirational stories that have come out of this and we cannot wait to share them with you.
